Online Listening Class – 5. A Ride on a Train

Last weekend, I went on a train ride with my family. It was my first time riding a train, and I was so excited! We went to the station and waited for the train to arrive. When the train came, it made a loud sound, “Choo-choo!” I climbed inside with Mom and Dad. We found our seats near the window. When the train started moving, I looked outside. I saw trees, houses, and cars passing by very fast. The train went over a bridge, and I could see a river below. It was so exciting! Inside the train, there were many people sitting and talking. Some people were reading books, and others were eating snacks. Dad bought me a sandwich and juice from the train café. I liked eating while the train was moving. The seats were soft and comfortable. I loved the sound of the train wheels on the tracks. After a few hours, we reached our stop. I didn’t want to get off because the train ride was so much fun! Dad said we can go on another train ride soon. I can’t wait to ride the train again and see more amazing places!
