Today, I went to the dentist for a check-up. I was a little scared at first, but Mom told me the dentist is very nice. When we arrived, the dentist smiled and said hello. She asked me to sit in a big chair that could move up and down. I opened my mouth wide, and she checked my teeth with a small mirror. The dentist told me my teeth looked good, but I need to brush better at night. She showed me how to brush properly with a big model of teeth and a toy toothbrush. After checking my teeth, she cleaned them with a special machine. It made a funny noise, but it didn’t hurt. My teeth felt shiny and smooth after the cleaning. The dentist also gave me a fluoride treatment to make my teeth strong. At the end of the visit, she gave me a sticker and a small toy. I was so happy! Mom said I did a great job, and she was proud of me. Now, I am not scared of the dentist anymore. I know the dentist helps keep my teeth healthy and clean. I can’t wait to show Dad my shiny teeth!
